Carve your design into an eraser. Get some scraps of plain papers and newspapers and a selection of coloured stamp pads. Use the back as well as the front of your eraser to print an interesting variety of images. Cut out your favourite blocks and glue them on to an oblong of newspaper. Crop as desired and hang it on the wall or prop it on a shelf.

Photocopy an ancient document or cut out a piece of newspaper. Get a black ink pad and as many hand stamps as you can find – metal, wood, rubber and plastic are all fine. Stamp the paper densely until the paper is completely covered. If necessary, finish off by touching up or darkening some spots with a fine felt pen.

Collect vintage tickets and stick them to old cardboard with repositionable glue. Leave torn edges, folded corners and faded stains to add character. Photocopy the image and then frame your favourite section, or use it for decoupage, or as a background in your art journal.
